Fluctuations in prevailing domestic fuel prices result in impacts to the baseline costs and overheads associated with the provision of logistics services. This necessitates the application of a variable fuel surcharge (FSC) which may increase or decrease in line with movements in fuel prices.
The fuel surcharge percentage for Emirates Post’s services is subject to periodic adjustment is based on:
• ADNOC published Prices in AED per litre for Special-95 gasoline-type fuel (ADNOC Distribution)
Changes to the above index are therefore monitored closely with any variation reflected in the FSC published by Emirates Post. Any change to the FSC (if applicable) will be monitored and applied on a periodic monthly basis, in alignment with the release dates of the aforementioned index.
Depending on the actual day of index data release, information on the FSC surcharge change (if applicable) will be made available to all customers via this web page by Friday of the week prior to the updated rate being applicable. Emirates Post reserves the right to change the fuel surcharge index and table with or without notice. Both the amount and duration of the surcharge will be determined at Emirates Post’s sole discretion.
